Qigong (pronounced chee-gung), which means energy cultivation, is a gentle form of exercise that releases stress, supports health, and promotes awareness in activity.

Qigong is an ancient tradition with many different forms, practiced as a spiritual discipline, as a martial art, and for health and longevity.

This weekly evening practice group offers instruction in sitting, standing, breathing, and moving qigong for health and awareness. The aim is to integrate body, emotions, mind, and activity.

The small group format provides opportunities for individual attention and questions. These teachings and practices are suitable for beginning or experienced practitioners from any tradition.

  • Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.
  • Please don't eat a heavy meal before class.

You may drop in any Wednesday evening. Registration is not necessary.

"To administer medicines to diseases which have already developed and thereby suppress bodily chaos which has already occurred is comparable to the behavior of those who would begin to dig a well after they have grown thirsty, or those who would begin to cast weapons after they have engaged in battle. Would these actions not be too late?"
