Qigong means "energy cultivation." This is a gentle way of exercising that releases stress, supports health, and promotes awareness in activity.

In these sessions we'll play with several forms. The Eight Pieces of Brocade give a nice easy stretch to muscles and tendons. The Eighteen Movements of Shibashi release tension and boost energy and flexibility. Standing Like a Tree develops grounded, centered power.

These practices are suitable for everyone ~ no experience is necessary.

The aim is to integrate body, breath, and awareness.

Wear comfortable, loose, layered clothing.

Don't eat a heavy meal before class.
