Lost? So you were lost.
Wake up now.

Wherever you are is the entry point.
~ A Touch of Grace

Distracted and busy? Do emotional reactions make things turn out differently than you intend? Does it feel like something's missing in life?

Stable and clear attention is the necessary foundation for Buddhist meditation practice. This class will focus on the motivation and skills needed for the daily cultivation of attention.

Class size will be limited to 12 people. Active participation allows you to go deep into your own motivations for practice, to work with obstacles and reactive emotions, and to build the practical supports for consistent practice.

Suitable for all levels.

This class includes:
- overview of Buddhist meditation practices
- how to sit with comfort and awareness
- resting (shamatha) and looking (vipashyana)
- how to work with busyness, dullness, and emotions
- developing the internal motivation and external supports for consistent practice
- private interviews with the teacher

Since 1993 he has been practicing under the guidance of Ken McLeod, who authorized George to teach in 2006. George is a volunteer with the Northwest Dharma Association and is helping to organize When The Student Is Ready, a new Buddhist portal linking students and teachers. Read more...
